Dr Deepak Prasad

Deepak graduated from the University of Mysore, India, in 1999. Subsequently, he moved to the UK and undertook specialist medical training in Aberdeen, Scotland, obtaining membership in the Royal College of Physicians of the UK.

He trained in radiology at Aberdeen, Scotland and achieved the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists of the UK in 2008. He has undertaken a gastrointestinal radiology fellowship at University College Hospital, London and a one-year abdominal imaging fellowship at Leeds Teaching Hospitals.

He then worked as a consultant abdominal radiologist at Bradford Teaching Hospitals from 2010 to 2012 and was affiliated with the Bradford Digestive Diseases Centre.

Deepak joined PRP in 2013 and currently lives in Orange, providing radiological services in the Bathurst and Orange practices.

His special interests include abdominal imaging (especially CT colonography and abdominopelvic MRI), oncology imaging, imaging-guided intervention and CTCA.
