PRP Diagnostic Imaging is proud to welcome Alto Imaging
PRP Diagnostic Imaging is proud to welcome Alto Imaging into its network, expanding services and access across the Hunter and Greater Newcastle.
The Alto Imaging network includes six practices located in Glendale, Mayfield, Salamander Bay, East Maitland, Singleton - all of which will continue to operate under their current names and teams - and Cessnock which will be opening in late 2025 as a brand new PRP practice.
PRP already has a strong presence in the Hunter region through our Maitland, Charlestown and Adamstown practices, supported by more than 1,000 dedicated professionals across New South Wales.
It’s currently business as usual for all referrers and patients. Bringing the Alto Imaging network under the PRP umbrella allows us to:
- Expand access to advanced imaging services, local radiologists and further access to sub specialty expertise throughout NSW;
- Strengthen collaboration across an integrated network of local technologists, and support teams;
- Ensure clinical leadership remains at the centre of everything we do.
Together, PRP and Alto Imaging share a vision of innovation, clinical excellence, and patient-centred care - delivering comprehensive diagnostic imaging to the communities we proudly serve.
Please note: existing booking and referral processes, reporting systems and staff contacts remain the same across PRP and Alto Imaging while we integrate our business. Please direct any enquiries about the transition here.
In Loving Memory of Dr. Peter Carr
It is with deep sadness and profound gratitude that we remember Dr. Peter Carr, a cherished colleague, and an integral part of PRP Diagnostic Imaging.
Peter’s contributions went far beyond his exceptional professional expertise; his unwavering commitment to patient care, his kindness, and his mentorship left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to work alongside him. He had a unique ability to bring warmth and humour to even the most challenging days, and his passion for radiology inspired us all.
Peter was not just a colleague; he was a friend, a confidant, and a cornerstone of our practice. His dedication to his craft and his genuine care for his patients made a lasting impact that will be felt for generations.
As we reflect on the many memories we shared, we celebrate Peter’s incredible life and honour the legacy he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Our thoughts are with Peter’s family and loved ones during this difficult time. May his memory continue to guide and inspire us all.
