COVID-19 PRP Imaging Update
At PRP Diagnostic Imaging, we take the health and safety of our patients and staff very seriously. As the Coronavirus continues to make headlines, we wanted to provide you, the patients and referrers to PRP, up-to-date information on the measures we are taking to ensure the safety of our employees, patients, and the local community. We will continue to monitor the situation in-line with the Department of Health guidelines and provide updates should anything change.
All our PRP practices are currently open with the usual operating hours.
If you are suspected of having coronavirus or are quarantined, you should not attend our clinics.
Unfortunately, at this time we do not have the facility to appropriately separate those affected with coronavirus from our other vulnerable patients. We
would ask that you call your referrer, or call the Public Health Hotline on 1300 066 055, who will be able to give you advice.
Patient only policy
We now have a strict patient only policy at all practices. This is to minimise the risk of possibly infecting vulnerable patients.
If you have flu-like symptoms that have not been confirmed as coronavirus.
You will need to call the front desk before entering the practice and we will try to accommodate your examination. If you have a mask please wear it, alternatively,
we will bring one out to you. As mentioned above, clinic access will be for patients only and if you are accompanying a patient you will need to wait
outside. Once your test is completed, we kindly ask that patients leave the practice immediately.
Health and hygiene
As a healthcare provider excellent hygiene is at the core of all of our work. We have infection protection policies in place at all our clinics and ask
that our patients respectfully follow the advice and instruction of our staff wherever necessary.
